Band History

Hi i am Paul Pinfold and i play synthesizers, compose, record and produce Electronica music.
After a lot of hard work my debut album
"MACHINE VISIONS" is out now.
I am 38 years old and from Coventry, England.
I began "messing" around with keyoards at age 17.

Having started to become heavily influenced by Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream and Jean Michel Jarre.
I found a love of all things analogue.

I started using the Atari ST520 computer for midi sequencing, Quasi Midi Technox sound module and a Yamaha controller
keyboard.

The output of this was then recorded into a Tascam 4 track tape recorder with no EQ ing, this was very basic but where I learnt to play and program synths.

I have never had any musical training, just teaching myself via playing and experimenting.

I now have a much better setup and more advanced equipment.

I now use a PC running Cubase studio 4 as the main sequencer for midi and audio, recording and mixing.
Within the PC my main instruments are the Arturia soft synths, Minimoog, Moog Modular, Roland Jupiter 8, ARP 2600, Yamaha CS80 and Prophet V and VS.
Also Cubase`s soft synths and Intakt`s sampler.
